Apple Pie Moonshine Spice Kit Recipes

Apple pie moonshine may be made with the basic formula, which is 40 proof. Generally speaking, this is how most people make it, and it’s a fantastic blend of booze, apple taste, and spices.

Step 1 –

Combine the following items in a separate bowl:

  • 1 entireapple pie moonshine spice mixtin
  • 1 wholeapple pie moonshine spice mixtin The following ingredients are required: 6 cups of 80 proof grain alcohol (genuine moonshine is preferred, although vodka will suffice if you don’t have any shine). 4 thawed frozen apple juice concentrate cans (48 fl oz each)

Step 2 –

Allow the ingredients to remain at room temperature for 24-48 hours before using them. Overall, 24 hours if you need it quickly, 48 hours if you want the greatest flavor possible.. However, don’t let it sit for any longer than necessary. Too much flavor will be extracted from the spices, and your apple pie will lose its shine and begin to taste ever so little bitter as a result.

Step 3 –

Pass the ingredients through a fine wire mesh strainer to remove any lumps (or cheesecloth, or coffee filter). Transfer to quart-sized mason jars (you’ll need three). If you choose, you can remove the cinnamon sticks from the expended spices and re-incorporate one into each quart of spiced water. You know, to make it more visually appealing. This is the point at which your apple pie shine is ready to be consumed. If you aren’t going to drink it all right away, we recommend putting it in the refrigerator.

“ Ruckus Juice ” Apple Pie Moonshine Recipe – 75 Proof (37.5% alcohol)

Use a fine-mesh strainer to sieve the ingredients through (or cheesecloth, or coffee filter). Into three quart jars (you’ll need three), transfer the mixture. The cinnamon sticks can be pulled out of the used spices and re-added to each quart of spiced water if desired. In order to make it appear beautiful, you know? Your apple pie shine is now complete and ready to be consumed! If you aren’t going to drink it all right away, we recommend that you put it in the fridge.

Step 1 –

Combine the following items in a separate bowl:

  • Apple pie moonshine spice mix
  • 6 cups of 150 proof grain alcohol (moonshine is preferable, but any clear flavorless 150 proof alcohol will work)
  • 1 apple pie moonshine spice mixtin
  • 1 apple pie moonshine spice mixtin Frozen apple juice concentrate in four cans (each holding 48 ounces) thawed It is optional to add 1/4 cup of brown sugar to help balance out the extra alcohol.

Step 2 –

Allow the ingredients to remain at room temperature for 24-48 hours before using them. Allow up to 48 hours for the taste to be fully extracted. However, do not immerse the spices for more than 48 hours at a time.

At this stage, your apple pie shine is ready to be enjoyed as a beverage. If you aren’t going to drink it all right away, we recommend putting it in the refrigerator.

“ Fire On The Mountain ” Apple Pie Moonshine Recipe – 95 Proof (47.5% alcohol)

The “Red Line” formula will produce apple pie moonshine with a proof of 95 percent. This recipe, on the other hand, is not for the faint of heart. If you brew apple pie moonshine, it will be the sort that sneaks up on you and grips hold, leaving you scratching your head and wondering “what in the world happened last night?” when you wake up. Hold on to your liver, because it’s going to be a bumpy journey ahead!

Step 1 –

Combine the following items in a separate bowl:

  • 1apple pie (included) 6 cups of 190 proof grain alcohol
  • 6 cups of moonshine spice mixtin If you have moonshine, make use of it. If you don’t have any, try Everclear 190 proof. Frozen apple juice concentrate in four cans (each holding 48 ounces) thawed A 1/2 cup of brown sugar can be used if you want to balance off the extra alcohol.

Step 2 –

Allow the ingredients to remain at room temperature for 24-48 hours before using them.

If possible, allow 48 hours, but if you’re in a rush, 24 hours will suffice. However, do not exceed 48 hours since the alcohol solution will extract too much flavor from the spices and will render the combination bitter if you continue to cook it.

What is Moonshine?

If you’ve never had Apple Pie Moonshine before, I must warn you that it’s just as hazardous as it is delectable. This moonshine is created from 190 proof grain alcohol (Everclear), which means it has a lot of flavor and kick. With its excellent flavor, however, moderation is advised, and shots should only be offered as an after-dinner treat. Please take pleasure in moderation.

How Do You Make Apple Pie Moonshine?

The tastes of the moonshine are blended together in a pot of simmering apple cider, apple juice, sugar, and seasonal spices for an hour before serving. (While the juice is boiling, you may listen to my Friendsgiving playlist, which is available here.) Add the alcohol when it has cooled. The Apple Pie Moonshine is now ready for consumption. That is all there is to it. However, I recommend allowing it to stay in the refrigerator for approximately a month before serving it to ensure maximum flavor.

For those who live in states where grain alcohol is not available in 190 proof, you can replace 150 proof grain alcohol or use extra vodka.

The majority of people first learn about apple pie moonshine via a friend who has made it, or from the all-too-popular television show Moonshiners, which features the recipe. It’s by far the most sought-after bootleg whiskey on the market these days, and it’s also the greatest handmade version I’ve ever tried, hands down.

Following the fermentation process, you’ll need a still to distill your corn mash, so go through all of the DIY reflux and pot still plans available online. These step-by-step designs are ideal for anyone who wants to construct their own still from the ground up.

How To Make Apple Pie Moonshine

Be careful, this recipe will yield 2 quarts of 35 percent abv Apple Pie Moonshine that will knock your socks off. So, drink responsibly and CATION!

You’ll need the following items to complete your project:

  • Brown sugar (1 cup), white sugar (1 cup), ten cinnamon sticks, 1 quart of 150-180 proof moonshine (150-180 proof), 1/2 quart of freshly squeezed Apple Cider (1/2 quart of freshly squeezed Apple Juice), 1 quart of freshly squeezed Apple Juice

It is possible to prepare Apple Pie Moonshine in two ways: you may either boil the base for 30 – 40 minutes, which extracts flavors quickly and makes the Apple Pie Shine palatable after it has cooled, or you can let it rest overnight, letting the cinnamon sticks to release rich flavors slowly. I’ve tried both methods and prefer the steeping approach over the boiling one. The boiling process leaves a small bitterness in the final result, in my opinion. Ultimately, I’ll leave the technique of your choice up to you to decide.

Boil Method

Into a large saucepan, combine the apple juice, apple cider, brown and white sugar, and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a low setting and cook for 30 – 40 minutes. Make care to stir the mixture periodically. Cooking until the liquid has been reduced to a simmer should take around 30 minutes. Remove the cinnamon sticks from the pan. Fill half-full mason jars with the foundation you’ve created, then fill the rest with Moonshine. Keep in mind that the ultimate strength will be determined by the amount of moonshine proof you use.

Using the boil technique, for example, if our moonshine has a proof of 140, we would dilute it 50/50 to get a final proof of 70.

” alt=””> ” alt=””> In the event that you don’t mind being patient, I’d highly recommend using the next technique.

Apple pie moonshine created using this approach will be exceptional, and you will be glad to tell your friends and family that you made it yourself.

No – Boil Method

To a mixing basin, combine the apple juice, apple cider, brown sugar, and white sugar. Stir until the sugars are completely dissolved, then add Moonshine until the required proof is reached. Fill the mason jars halfway with the mixture and insert two cinnamon sticks into each jar to finish. Fill the jars with water and let them for several days. After a few days, take a sip of the apple pie moonshine and remove the cinnamon sticks when the ideal flavor is achieved.

Final Notes:

If you’re feeling experimental, you may experiment with different flavors such as ginger, allspice, cloves, orange peel, or vanilla bean in your apple pie moonshine. If you’re looking to experiment with different spice combinations, try filling little 125-mL jars with different mixtures of spices. I’ve had a lot of luck utilizing ginger, cloves, and vanilla beans in my cooking. In the event that you make Granny’s Apple Pie Moonshine, we’d love to know what you thought of it. Please feel free to submit any modifications to the recipe or to publish your own moonshine recipe that you have mastered.

Basically, whenever I mentioned “Apple cider” in the recipe above, I substituted apple juice.

This is especially useful if you are more concerned with the appearance of the dish than the taste. Personally, I enjoy my recipe, but it will be much darker than I expect! Please accept my apologies for any confusion.

Exceptional Recipes I did make a few modifications, though, including adding an additional 1 cup of grain alcohol and an extra. Each jar is filled with 5 cups of vodka (we like it rather strong). I also placed one cinnamon stick and half of a vanilla bean in each jar before bottling. Another advantage of having such a high alcohol content is that they may be stored at ambient temperature. Thank you for a fantastic recipe; everyone who has tried it has raved about it. More information can be found at

Homemade Apple Pie Moonshine

Midnight Moon Moonshine was a discovery I made back in 2012. I purchased two jars of the Cherry, one for a gift and one for us. Allow me to state unequivocally that moonshine is a party in a jar! It’s possible that it generated a commotion or not! I immediately started tinkering and came up with my own recipe for Apple Pie Moonshine. In 2013, a couple of my girlfriends and I were sitting around my kitchen table (while the boys were outside playing cornhole), and let’s just say that more chuckles and mischief poured out of a jar of Apple Pie Moonshine than we could count.

The flavor of my homemade Apple Pie Moonshine was something I wanted to be less overpowering and more tasty and delightful when I decided to try my hand at creating it.

We would drink it more as a novelty than anything else (and shudder each time).

Honestly, the homemade Apple Pie Moonshine recipe I came up with is delicious! It’s smooth yet has a kick. It can sneak up on you.

Midnight Moon Moonshine was one of the first spirits I encountered back in 2012. My purchase of the Cherry consisted of two jars: one to give as a gift and one for our own consumption. I’ll simply say it: moonshine is like a miniature cocktail party in a bottle! You can’t tell whether or not it made a commotion! I immediately started tinkering and came up with my own recipe for Apple Pie Moonshine a short time later. We were seated around my kitchen table the night before Mother’s Day in 2013 (while the boys played cornhole outdoors), and let’s just say that a jar of Apple Pie Moonshine was the source of even more chuckles and mischief that evening!

The flavor of my homemade Apple Pie Moonshine was something I wanted to be less overpowering and more tasty and delightful when I decided to try my hand at producing it myself.

When we first started drinking alcohol, it was more of a novelty (and shudder each time).

Tips on Making Apple Pie Moonshine

  • The higher the quality of your ingredients, the better the outcome. I prefer to use farm fresh apple cider when I can get it, as well as organic apple juice
  • I also like to add one or two Honeycrisppears to the recipe, which I chop into bits and cook with it. Mash them up afterward for added taste and to include little pieces of apple
  • You can experiment with the amount of sugar you use. The sweetness of apple cider, as well as the sweetness of apple juice, varies. When it comes to sweetness, the more alcohol you end up adding, the less sweet it will be. Do not add your alcohol until the combination has cooled (if you add it when the mixture is still hot, the alcohol will disperse a little)
  • Always taste and adjust the next day after the mixture has been allowed to chill. Increase the amount of alcohol to make it stronger, and increase the amount of apple cider if you think you’ve made it too powerful
  • I store this in the freezer. Keep in mind to allow a little headroom at the top of your containers/jars! Depending on how powerful your moonshine is made, it will either freeze, become slush or not freeze at all, depending on how long it has been in the freezer. Apple Pie Moonshine

With this simple and delectable Apple Pie Moonshine recipe, you can make your own flavored moonshine at home. It’s what I call a “party in a jar”! It’s the ultimate hostess/host gift, as well as a food present! Preparation time: 5 minutes Cooking Time: 15 minutes Time allotted: 20 minutes Course:Cocktails Cuisine:American The following keywords are used in this article: Apple Pie Moonshine Recipe, Homemade Apple Pie Moonshine Recipe, How To Make Flavored Moonshine. calories:287kcal per serving (serving size:2oz

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 64oz/ 8 cups apple cider
  • 64oz/ 8 cups apple juice
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar a couple of dashes of nutmeg a couple of dashes of ground cinnamon
  • 6 full cinnamon sticks, broken in half, toasted Optional: 2 Honeycrisp apples, sliced into 2 inch pieces
  • 1 750ml bottle Everclear 80 to 151 proof
  • 2 Honeycrisp apples, cut into 2 inch chunks It all depends on how strong you want it or how much grain alcohol you want (start with half a bottle and work your way up from there)
  • Bring the cider, juice, sugars, and apple chunks (if used) to a boil in a large pot, then add the spices and continue to simmer for another 10 minutes, slightly lowering the volume. Remove the pan from the heat and allow the mixture to cool fully
  • Once the mixture has reached room temperature, mash up the apples with a potato masher (if you want to include them) and filter the moonshine through cheesecloth. Add in the Everclear and give it a good swirl. I can’t always tell how powerful anything is until it’s been cold. Any additional Everclear or, if you feel the cider is too powerful, additional apple cider may be added at any time. A fresh cinnamon stick is placed in each container by me as a standard practice. This recipe will fill approximately 4-5 quart-sized mason jars. Store the moonshine in a cool garage or refrigerator to preserve its quality. Before you start pouring, give it a brief shake. Putting this in the freezer an hour or two before serving or going somewhere is a good idea for me. I serve it as shots in smapp shooter cups
  • It goes down well.

Notes from Colleen: This recipe may easily be doubled or even tripled. It is not required to include the spice, especially if you get an apple cider with a strong flavor. The spices give it a nice kick that I enjoy. It’s all up to you. Keeps well in the refrigerator for up to 4 weeks or longer (depends on how fresh your cider was). About an hour before drinking, I prefer to store it in the freezer. You can absolutely make this stronger by adding another half-bottle (or less) of Everclear, or you can make it weaker by adding more cider.

Play around with it until you get the bite/flavor you want.

This is a basic recipe for the famed apple pie moonshine, which can be found here. Making apple pie moonshine is quite simple, and you don’t even need to use moonshine (though you can’t really call it apple pie moonshine until you use moonshine).

1 gallon of fresh apple cider 1 gallon of freshly squeezed apple juice 3 cups granulated sugar 8 cinnamon sticks (about) 1 liter bottle of 190 proof moonshine or grain alcohol (optional).

  1. Combine the apple cider, apple juice, sugar, and cinnamon sticks in a large stockpot and bring to a boil. Bring it to a boil, then remove it from the heat and let it aside to cool a bit
  2. Add one liter of high strength liquor to the mix. Pour the mixture into mason jars, cover with lids, and let aside for a few days to mellow. Even if you may drink it right away, it will taste better after a few of weeks.

It creates approximately 9 quarts of apple pie moonshine from this recipe. If you find that this recipe is too much, you can easily cut it in half.

Warning! Apple pie moonshine will sneak up on you! This stuff is so smooth and tasty.Use with CAUTION!

To produce apple pie moonshine, you can use 190 proof grain alcohol like as Everclear or, if you can’t obtain moonshine, you can use regular grain alcohol such as rum. The majority of the moonshine that you’ll come across has been reduced to about 80 proof. This means that you’ll need to use slightly more than twice as much 80 proof moonshine, or around 2.5 liters, to get the same alcohol level as you would if using grain alcohol instead of rum. That is, unless you are very certain that it is 190 proof (in which case you probably know the dude that made it.)

Everclear is available at two different proof levels: 190proof and 151proof. In certain states, you may only purchase the 151 proof version of the product. There are a handful more states where it is outright prohibited. Take a look at this list of states (provided by Wikipedia): Proof (190 Proof) In the United States, it is illegal to sell the 190-proof variety in the following states: California, Florida, Hawaii, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Washington, West Virginia, and Virginia.

Moonshine Quick Tip:

By looking at the “bead,” you may obtain a general notion of how potent the moonshine really is. Check out how quickly the bubbles vanish when you shake up a bottle of vodka. This is referred to as “checking the bead.” The higher the concentration of alcohol in the drink, the faster the bubbles evaporate. A significant number of bubbles will develop in 190 proof liquor and will dissolve practically rapidly, but the bubbles in 80 proof liquor will be smaller, foamier, and will take longer to disperse.

Take a bottle of high-proof liquor, such as Everclear, and give it a good shake.

We produced, stored, and utilized this alcohol in line with the rules of the Therapeutic Goods Administration. In addition, we maintained and reported production records in compliance with the requirements of the TTB fuel alcohol authorization.

Mashing And Fermentation Process

1. We harvested half a grove of apple trees. In order to make apple wine, it is essential to use more acidic and sour types of apples (Winesap, McIntosh, and Jonathans all work great) 2. Peeled and washed the apples. 3. Placed the apples in an apple grinder and pulsed them until they were a pulp. 4. Placed the mash bag in the apple press and turned it on. 5. Added the ground apples to the fruit press and turned on the machine. 6. I pressed the apples in a press. 7. Collect the apple juice in a bucket that has been thoroughly cleaned.

  1. After all of the apples had been juiced, we poured the juice into the mash pot and mixed well.
  2. I added 4 gallons of water to the mix (or enough to reach 5.5 gallons total volume).
  3. Combine the apple juice and water in a large mixing bowl.
  4. We took a gravity reading that was unique to us.
  5. Our initial gravity was 1.01314, which was a 1.01314.
  6. 15.
  7. The amount of sugar required to attain our starting gravity of 1.065 was discovered during our tests.

What kind of liquor goes into moonshine?

Moonshine is a type of whiskey that is manufactured at home and is not matured. According to the docuseries Moonshine on Discovery Channel, it is known for being illegally distilled and trafficked over state boundaries, among other things. The fact why moonshine is prohibited is owing to laws prohibiting the distillation of alcoholic beverages at home. In other words, when people talk about flavored moonshine, such as this Apple Pie Moonshine, they’re talking about a drink that’s produced using the closest thing you can purchase to true moonshine, which is a high-proof grain alcoholic beverage.

Any grain alcohol between 80 and 151 proof will work, or you may use the highest proof vodka you can locate to make this cocktail.

What You’ll Need

Using only a few simple ingredients, including three different types of alcohol, you can create this alcoholic apple pie cocktail.

(See the printable recipe card for further information and measurements; scroll down to the bottom of this page.)

  • Apple cider: Make careful you use pure apple cider (preferably from a local source if possible), not apple cider vinegar. Apple juice: Increases the apple flavor of the drink while also sweetening it. Sugar is made up of an equal mixture of granulated sugar and brown sugar. Sugar is required to counteract the effects of the cider and alcohol. If you remove these components, the drink will be considerably too powerful and bitter
  • Otherwise, add them in. Apple pie spice: This flavored moonshine has the flavor of apple pie in a glass because of the use of this spice. Apple juice is cooked with half of the cinnamon sticks while the other half is put to the jars just before sealing. Grain alcohol: You may use any grain alcohol between 80 and 151 proof (such as Everclear®), depending on how strong you prefer your cocktail. If you are unable to get grain alcohol, you can use the highest proof vodka that you can locate. To produce this apple pie moonshine a la mode, we use both caramel and vanilla vodka to enhance the flavor of the apple pie moonshine.

How to Make Apple Pie Moonshine

Making flavored moonshine is simple, but if you want the greatest flavor and the smoothest drink possible, start preparing it many weeks ahead of time. Here’s a quick rundown of what happened: (For more information, see the printable recipe card in its entirety, which may be found below.)

  • Cook the non-alcohol items for a few minutes. In a large stockpot, combine all of the ingredients except the liquor and bring to a rolling boil. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and set aside to cool fully. Remove the cinnamon sticks and place the alcohol in the bowl. Stir in the grain alcohol and vodkas once the apple cider mixture has been allowed to cool fully before transferring to mason jars. Fill the mason jars halfway with fresh cinnamon sticks. Distribute the moonshine among the jars in a fair amount. Place lids on securely and store until ready to serve. The flavor of this moonshine is great shortly after it is prepared, but it is even better after it has mellowed for several weeks. As far as is practicable, store the jars in a cold, dry, and dark location for several weeks.

Tips for Success

If this is your first time producing moonshine, there are a few things you should bear in mind before getting started.

  • To ensure that the apple cider mixture is absolutely cold, set it aside. It is important not to add your alcohol until the mixture has cooled completely, as the alcohol will begin to disperse. Also, avoid adding the alcohol near an open flame or heat source. Alcohol, particularly grain alcohol, has a high flammability rating. Another reason to wait until the mixture has cooled fully before adding the alcohol is to avoid burning your fingers. Before opening, give it a good shake. The residue from the cinnamon stick may still be present, in which case simply shake the container before opening. It is possible to filter the liquid through cheesecloth if it is really bothersome to you. How to properly seal your canning jars. Because of the alcohol component, the jars do not require a tight vacuum seal as you would for other types of preserving or canning, but you should still apply a tight closure on them. The lid tops are boiled for a few minutes, then wiped dry and placed on top of the jar, which is my preferred method. To finish, add the ring and tighten it until it is “finger snug.” Without having to bother about boiling the jars, you may create a miniature vacuum-like seal with a heated lid, saving time and money. Make the necessary adjustments to the alcohol. You may modify the flavor of the moonshine after you’ve opened it to consume it by adding more alcohol to make it stronger or additional apple cider to make it softer. The sweetness of the apple cider and apple juice might vary depending on the variety. The amount of alcohol you use will determine how sweet the drink will be

Serving Suggestions

Because this apple pie moonshine recipe calls for Everclear as well as two flavored vodkas, it delivers a powerful punch in terms of alcohol content — the longer it sits, the less alcohol you will be able to detect. When you drink it for a long period of time, it might taste like drinking spiced apple juice and nothing more. Consequently, the most essential thing to remember while serving this is to sip carefully and responsibly. Pour the moonshine into a cocktail glass or a shot glass depending on your preference for serving.

Pour the contents from a few mason jars into a big serving pitcher and let visitors to serve themselves as they choose.

If you’re going to do this, I recommend putting out tiny glasses first.

If I’m presenting it as a gift, I prefer to pour it into smaller mason jars and then tie a ribbon around the jar and include a letter.

How to Store

  • How long does moonshine keep its potency? The beautiful thing about creating moonshine is that it will keep for a long period of time in the bottle. Once opened, it will keep for up to 3 months at the back of the fridge before becoming stale. However, if it is not opened and stored in a cold, dry environment, it can survive up to three years. Is it necessary to keep moonshine refrigerated? Moonshine jars that have been opened should be refrigerated. Jars that have not been opened should not be refrigerated, but should be stored in a cool, dry location. Is it possible to freeze moonshine? Your moonshine may be stored in the freezer, that’s correct! When frozen, it has a shelf life of up to 2 years. Make sure to allow enough of headroom at the top of the jars since liquid expands when it’s stored in the freezer. If the drink is particularly powerful, it may freeze solid, turn into a slushy, or not freeze at all, depending on the temperature. In the event that it does freeze, it will thaw fast and it is quite great served chilled as a slushy.

How To Make Sweet Apple Pie Moonshine

On the face of the planet, there are two sorts of humans. They are those who urinate in the shower and believe that straight moonshine tastes like sh*t, and they are also nasty f**king liars. In all honesty, I’ve had enough moonshine over my life to consider myself somewhat of an authority on the subject of moonshine. However, claiming that I’ve consumed as much white lightning as I have because I enjoy the flavor is analogous to claiming that I enjoy buying females drinks because I have extra money burning a hole in my wallet in both cases.

  • But, once again, I don’t care for the flavor.
  • Sweet apple pie moonshine, on the other hand, is something I absolutely enjoy.
  • Interested?
  • First and foremost, let’s get one thing out of the way before we get to the recipe for Sweet Apple Pie Moonshine.
  • Period.
  • The production, possession, and consumption of moonshine are all illegal in the United States.
  • We’re going to make do with what we’ve got.
  • Everclear, which is available in both 151 proof and 190 proof, is the closest legal substitute.
  • In addition, it tastes just as bad in its purest form.

All that distinguishes one moonshine from another is the cutting tool used to prepare it for consumption. Lemons, cherries, peaches, blueberries, or, in our case, a blend of apple cider, apple juice, and two types of sugar are all delicious options.

The Sweet Apple Pie Moonshine Recipe

Everything you will need to create 12 Mason jars (16oz) of Sweet Apple Pie Moonshine is listed below.

  • (1.5) cups sugar
  • (1.5) cups brown sugar
  • (12) 16 oz Mason jars
  • (2) liters Everclear (190 proof) or grain alcohol
  • (1) pint Captain Morgan 100 proof spiced rum (optional)
  • (1) gallon of apple cider (I prefer the kind with lots of pulp)
  • (1) gallon of apple juice
  • (1.5) cups sugar
  • (12) cinnamon sticks

Combine the apple juice and apple cider in a large pot and bring it to a boil. Place the saucepan on the burner and bring it to a boil, stirring occasionally. Once the water comes to a boil, add the white and brown sugars and whisk until thoroughly dissolved. Turn off the heat and let the pot to cool until it reaches room temperature. Once the Everclear grain alcohol has cooled, combine the two bottles of Everclear grain alcohol. However, while the addition of Captain Morgan is mentioned as an optional ingredient, I believe it lends a pleasant little zing to the combination.

You can drink this thing straight out of the bottle, and it tastes much better when heated up like warm cider.

Pay attention to these words…

It is really easy to take and will creep up on you in a fast, putting you under the influence of alcohol.

The Whiskey Wedge has been a fantastic accompaniment to this cocktail as well.
