In the week of the 27th of February, I had the opportunity of working in the Knysna Estuary and engaging with the individuals participating in the Knysna Basin Project. It was a wonderful experience. As part of my M.Sc. degree, I am investigating the accurate identification of the Moonshine worm in the Knysna Estuary, which is located in South Africa. Polychaete worms are rapidly being caught and used as baiting species in the Knysna Estuary, according to ongoing interviews with local fishermen and publicly available data.
